Real-Time Family Tracking allows you to:
- View the live location of family members who share their tracking token with you.
- Share your own live location securely with trusted family members.
- Maintain continuous location updates without exposing your data to third-party servers.
Tracking is device-to-device and protected through encryption, ensuring only selected trusted people have access.
How Real-Time Tracking Works

Required Permissions and Settings
To enable Real-Time Tracking:
- Background Location Access must be granted ("Allow all the time").
- Internet Access is needed for device-to-device location updates.
- Notification Access is recommended to receive movement or alert updates (optional).
Ensure both devices (your device and your family member’s device) have location permissions fully enabled.
Setup Guide
To start tracking a family member:
- Open the SOS App.
- Navigate to Dashboard → Family Tracking.
- Tap Add Family Member.
- Enter the Tracking Token provided by your family member.
- Confirm and save.

Step 3: Add token of the family member's SOS App.
Step 4: Now, check the added member list.
Step 5: Track live location by clicking get location icon.
Step 6: Track live location by clicking get location.
Step 7: If the member is offline.
Step 8: If offline or online, request location by sms/internet.
To allow others to track you:
- Open the Family Tracking section and share your generated Tracking Token with trusted family members.
Tracking starts immediately once the token is added successfully.
Tokens can be regenerated anytime if you want to reset or remove access.
