info

During real-time sharing, your location updates every 30 seconds (or based on network availability). Ensure you have GPS and mobile data enabled for uninterrupted service.

note

Real-time location sharing requires both GPS and mobile data connectivity. If either is disabled, tracking may pause or fail to update.

FAQs

Q1: Can I use Trip Tracker without mobile data?

You can use Track for Myself without mobile data, as it only records locally on your device. However, Share with Family requires mobile data for transmitting live updates.

Q2: How do I know my tracking duration has ended?

When the timer reaches zero, the app automatically stops tracking and displays a confirmation message. You can also manually stop tracking by tapping Stop Tracking or Stop Sharing at any time.

Q3: Will Trip Tracker drain my battery quickly?

Continuous GPS usage can increase battery consumption. For extended trips, enable Battery Saver Mode or connect to a charger. The app shows an estimated battery usage warning when starting longer tracking sessions.

Q4: Can I view past trip data?

No. Trip Tracker does not store historical trip logs. Each session is temporary and resets after stopping. For persistent logs, consider manually exporting location data using a third-party tool.
