Safe Zone Token Setup

The Safe Zone Alert feature in the Famalth ONE App allows you to automatically notify trusted people when you enter or exit predefined Safe Zones (e.g., Home, Office, School).
To activate Safe Zone Alerts, you must set up a Safe Zone Token linked to your family or trusted member.


Overview

With Safe Zone Tokens, you can:

  • Automatically send alerts when you arrive at or leave a saved Safe Zone.
  • Assign alerts to specific trusted members using tokens.
  • Notify multiple people by adding up to two tokens.
  • Stay assured that your family is informed of your movements.

Prerequisites

Before setting up Safe Zone Tokens, ensure you have:

  • Added family members or trusted contacts in the Family Tracking section.
  • Received or copied their unique Safe Zone Token.
  • Enabled Location Services on your device.

How to Set Up Safe Zone Token

  1. Open the Famalth ONE App.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Manage Emergency Features.

  3. Toggle Safe Zone Alerts ON.

  4. A Safe Zone Alert Token Setup screen will appear.

  5. Follow these steps:

    • Step 1: Add your family member in Family Tracking.
    • Step 2: Ask your trusted member to share or copy their tracking token from the Family Tracking section in their app.
    • Step 3: Paste or manually enter the token in the Safe Zone Alert form.
    • Step 4 (Optional): Add a second token to notify another person.
    • Step 5: Tap Save to confirm.

At least one token must be entered to enable Safe Zone Alerts.


Example

  • Token #1: Parent’s tracking token.
  • Token #2: Sibling’s tracking token (optional).

Whenever you leave home or arrive at school, both will automatically receive an SOS Safe Zone notification.

Common Questions

Q1: Can I add more than two tokens?

No. Currently, you can add up to two tokens for Safe Zone Alerts.

Q2: What happens if I remove a token?

The linked contact will stop receiving Safe Zone alerts until re-added.

Q3: Do tokens expire?

No. Tokens remain active until removed, but they can be reset anytime by the trusted member in Family Tracking.

Q4: Will tokens work without internet?

No. Safe Zone alerts require an active internet connection to notify recipients.
