Food (Macros)

The Food (Macros) tracker in the Famalth ONE App helps you log and monitor your daily nutrition intake.
You can track calories, carbs, protein, and fat across meals, set personalized calorie goals, and review insights over days, weeks, months, or even yearly.


Overview

With Food (Macros), you can:

  • Log meals for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Other.
  • Track macronutrients: Carbs, Protein, Fat.
  • Monitor calories consumed vs. daily goal.
  • Get insights across daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly views.
  • Use the food database with preset items or log meals manually.
  • Set your daily calorie target with quick presets.

How to Log Food

  1. Open the Famalth ONE App.
  2. Go to the Health Dashboard → Food (Macros) card.
  3. Tap Log Food.
  4. Choose a logging method:
    • Quick Add: Select common items (e.g., Apple, Banana, Roti, Rice).
    • Search: Find food items from the database or create a custom item.
    • Manual Entry: Enter carbs, protein, and fat directly.
  5. Select the meal type (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Other).
  6. Adjust serving size and calories.
  7. Tap Save.

Nutrition Insights

  • Daily View: Tracks today’s meals and macro split.
  • Weekly View: Shows calorie intake and nutrition breakdown across the week.
  • Monthly View: Identifies long-term patterns in eating habits.
  • Yearly View: Annual calorie and macro trends.

Each view provides:

  • Calories (consumed vs. goal).
  • Macronutrient breakdown (carbs, protein, fat).
  • Prediction if your intake meets or misses the daily target.

Setting Calorie Goals

  1. Open the Food (Macros) section.
  2. Tap the goal settings (flag icon).
  3. Choose from quick presets (1500, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2500, 3000 kcal).
  4. Or enter a custom calorie target (1000–4500 kcal).
  5. Select how many meals per day (2, 3, or 4).
  6. Tap Save Goal.

Common Questions

Can I add custom food items?

Yes. Use the Search → Create custom food option to add your own meal with calories and macros.

Does the app track micronutrients?

Currently, only macronutrients (carbs, protein, fat) and calories are tracked. Micronutrient tracking may be added in future updates.

Is Food logging offline?

Yes. You can log food offline. Data syncs to the cloud once you’re online.
