Medication

The Medication feature in the Famalth One App helps you track medicines, stay on schedule, monitor adherence, and generate shareable reports.
It is designed to support daily medication routines, long-term treatments, elderly care, and chronic condition management.

Overview​

With Medication Management, you can:

  • Add medicines with pill/capsule or liquid units
  • Set daily or interval-based reminders
  • Track taken, skipped, and pending doses
  • Monitor medicine stock levels with alerts
  • View adherence analysis and history
  • Generate and share medicine reports as PDF

How to Access Medication Management​

  1. Open the Famalth One Dashboard.
  2. On the top-right corner, tap the Medicine Bag icon.
  3. This opens the My Medications screen.

Add a Medicine​

To create a medicine reminder, follow these steps:

  1. Tap ➕ Add medicine.
  2. Fill in the medicine details as described below.

Medicine Details Explained​

Dose Unit​

Select how the medicine is consumed:

  • Pill / Capsule
  • Liquid (ml)

Basic Details​

  • Medicine name
  • Notes (optional)
    Example: After food, Before sleep

Stock & Alerts​

  • Initial stock – total quantity available
  • Low stock alert – warning threshold
  • Low days threshold (optional)

These help ensure you never run out of essential medicines.

Schedule​

  • Choose Daily or Interval
  • Add one or more time slots
  • Set dose quantity for each time
  • Select start date
  • Optionally set an end date
  • Use Pause reminders to temporarily stop alerts
  1. Tap Save to confirm.

You can add multiple reminder times for the same medicine in a single day.

View My Medications​

After saving:

  • The medicine appears in the My Medications list
  • Each entry shows:
    • Current stock
    • Adherence summary
    • Pending / taken / skipped status

Edit or Delete a Medicine​

  1. In My Medications, locate the medicine.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) on the right.
  3. Choose:
    • Edit to update details or schedule
    • Delete to remove the medicine and its reminders

Medicine Analysis & Adherence​

  1. Tap on a medicine from the list.
  2. View detailed insights:
    • Adherence summary
      • Taken
      • Skipped
      • Pending
    • Visual charts for dose behavior
    • Complete date-wise dose history

You can filter history by:

  • All
  • Pending
  • Taken
  • Skipped

Share Medicine Report (PDF)​

  1. Open a medicine’s detail screen.
  2. Tap the Share icon.
  3. A PDF report is generated automatically.
  4. Share it via WhatsApp, email, Drive, or any supported app.

The report includes:

  • Medicine name
  • Current stock
  • Adherence summary chart
  • Detailed dose history

This is especially useful for sharing with doctors, caregivers, or family members.

Best Practices​

  • Keep stock values updated for accurate alerts
  • Enable low stock warnings for long-term medicines
  • Review adherence regularly for better health outcomes
  • Share PDF reports during medical consultations

FAQ​

Can I add multiple medicines?

Yes. You can add and manage any number of medicines, each with its own schedule and reminders.

What happens if I miss a dose?

Missed doses remain marked as Pending until you take or skip them, ensuring accurate adherence tracking.

Can I pause reminders temporarily?

Yes. Use the Pause reminders option inside a medicine to stop notifications without deleting it.

Does Medication Management work offline?

Yes. Reminders, tracking, and history work offline. Internet is only required for sharing PDF reports.

Can I edit dose units or schedules later?

Yes. All medicine details — including dose unit, time, and quantity can be edited anytime.

Is my medication data shared automatically?

No. Your medicine data stays private on your device unless you explicitly share a report.
